Hi I’m Cynthia, director (both at work and at home), entrepreneur, busy working boy mom of two here on earth and two in heaven, wife, and daughter of the King. After struggling to be the patient and loving mom I wanted to be, constantly burntout, having outbursts of anger towards my family, allowing the enemy to torment me with food, striving to always please people, and believing I was failing in all areas of life, I spent years finding my identity in Christ. Fighting against the spiritual bondage of perfectionism, worry, fear of failure and growing my trust in Jesus, have allowed me to experience healing, restoration, and freedom. After navigating who God has called me to be as a wife, mom, leader in higher education, and businesswoman I was transformed! Through that shift, I was led to creating this safe space for other working moms to explore their own identity in Christ and create a rooted, whole, life-God’s way with His priorities and energy! This Holy Spirt-Led podcast is going to help you find TRUE freedom, while resting in Jesus, rising into your authority, and raising kingdom kids. AMEN! Here in this space you will be encouraged, empowered, and partnered with Jesus to get breakthrough in your faith, motherhood, wellness, and mindset so that you can have victory, as a mama who is resting and living light, in the presence, with peace, joy and fulfillment. Hi Mama!
Today’s episode is part 2 of H𝒐𝒘 𝒕𝒐 G𝒆𝒕 Y𝒐𝒖𝒓 K𝒊𝒅𝒔 𝒕𝒐 L𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒏 𝒕𝒐 Y𝒐𝒖!
In God’s Word, Ephesians 6:1-4 tells us “Children, obey your parents because you belong to the Lord, for this is the right thing to do. 'Honor your father and mother. ' This is the first commandment with a promise: If you honor your father and mother, 'Things will go well for you, and you will have a long life on the earth.”
This is why teaching your kids to obey you is so essential. Obeying you is NOT an option, it is a MUST. Teaching your kids how to hear and listen to your voice teaches them how to hear and obey the Lord. Obedience to God is fundamental to them walking out their purpose and doing this leads to their (and your) fulfillment, joy, and peace.
Listen and get tactical strategies and real-life examples that will help make your relationship with your kids less stressful and more rewarding. Less yelling and pleading from mama and more obedience from your kids-YES, please!
P.S. They work especially well with teenagers too.

Prayer and declarations have the power to transform our minds and who we are, as we grow closer to God and deepen our personal relationship with Him. They also help us partner with God and He grants us success in the things we work to accomplish, in obedience, according to His will and purpose for our lives.

When life gets hard, it is easy to lose focus and parent from a place of overwhelm, discouragement, fear, and even anger. This is why, in this week’s episode, I am sharing the biblical parenting solution to this with you.
One of the enemy’s primary strategies is to distract us as moms and get us to lose sight of Jesus. He wants us to feel like we are all alone, with no help, and ultimately feel like we’re not a good mom. These beliefs create feelings of overwhelm, discouragement, and anger and then manifest in our behavior and action, particularly towards our children.

Hi Love!
In this week’s episode, we are talking about who GOD says YOU are! And together, we speak over you 11 powerful scriptures that declare your TRUE God-given identity.
Knowing your God-given identity is absolutely essential as it clarifies and validates your purpose and strengthens your faith. When you are walking in your God-given identity, you are free from worry about what others think of you, shame, accomplishing everything on your own, adequate resources, fear of failure, and the list goes on because you can Rest (true Rest with Jesus) on the promises of Christ.
You can know and believe that as Nehemiah 2:20 tells us “The God of heaven is the One who will grant us success. We, His servants will start building.” It is our job to trust in God’s promises, His perfect plan, His perfect timing, perhaps wait on Him with expectancy, and then take action in obedience to our calling.
This is an episode you can come back to anytime you feel like things are not aligned in your life and you are in strive mode and it will remind you who God says you are-your TRUE identity and help you re-discover fulfillment, as a busy working mama.
